Dont Let the Fear of Feeling Keep You From Healing

When I first embarked on my healing journey after having a heart attack at age 28. I thought that my healing journey was something that I could accomplish in a set amount of time and then it was over. I had the innocent belief that the healing I needed for my heart was going to be found on the physical layer of my being because that is where the pain had manifested. I later realized the the true deep healing for my heart would take me on a journey to every layer of my existence, requiring me to fully feel and embrace the entirety of whatever was arising in the moment, without judgement towards it, in order for it to pass through.

DON'T LET THE FEAR OF HEALING KEEP YOU FROM HEALING.

The healing magic comes when we can truly softness, relax and allow an emotion to fully be felt WITHOUT creating a story around it, judging it or wishing it were different. The truth is, emotions are energy; an emotional has to be fully felt in order for it to be realized. If we resist it, we contract, and the energy gets stuck in an area of the body which can manifest as tension, pain, pressure and other contraction points. The good news is there are many beautiful practices available to use to help liberate this energy to use it for a higher purpose.

BREATHWORK - A POWERFUL TOOL TO TRANSMUTE STUCK ENERGY

One of the most powerful methods I have found for freeing, feeling and transmuting stagnant energy in the body is breathwork. When on my personal healing journey, I experienced using many different types of breathing rhythms and flows to clear, cleanse, detox, energize and balance my system. Once of the most powerful techniques I integrate as a core technique in the SOUL PATH ACCELERATOR is called the SOMA Awakening Breath technique where we use rhythmic breathing rounds paired with exhale and inhale breath retentions to move energy. I like to think of this technique as a gentle massaging of the nervous system through inducing brief periods of positive stress, followed by moments of expansion, openness and freedom to allow stuck energy to be freed and shift to a higher vibration to be use for creativity.

Free Yourself From Pain from the Past

There may be experiences you remember when you were younger when you were hurt but didn't fully feel safe to express the entirely of that emotion so it got trapped inside the body. We often associate a meaning or story with a painful experience, that keeps that type of experience manifesting again and again in life until we fully feel it and let it move through. Consciousness wants to heal it. The body wants to heal... but until we ALLOW THE HEALING to fully take place, new situations mirroring the same wound will continue to be presented. Can you relate?

This is such a simple a profound realization that has the power to shift the way we view our life experience as it happens to us. There is so much freedom that comes with learning to be a good observer of your life and the patterns that are appearing. When we can learn to observe and really SEE a pattern playing out with a childlike curiosity, knowing that this is an opportunity of consciousness unfolding in front of us calling our compassion for our healing....everything changes. Life because more magical. We recognize that these moments that have pained us for so long are actually showing up as an expression of LOVE gently calling us back home to our wholeness. But before we can accept the call, we have to have the courage to face and embrace the part of ourselves that is calling our tenderness, our love and self-forgiveness.

Feel It. Heal It.

When we run away from the emotional wave it continues to chase us. But by going into it we untangle it and complete the cycle. Research as shown that an emotion can only FULLY be felt for 90 seconds. To actually fully go into it and feel it in its entirely.
